Shorehill Cottages on the Water

We had a fantastic getaway at Shorehill. The cottage - Conrad is lovely, homely, super clean and tastefully furnished. Every thing was well thought out. John is amazing - friendly, accommodating and even went out of his way to provide us with excellent recommendations during our stay. All thumbs up for such a beautifully managed and picturesque location!

I had a tour today of the recently opened very stylish Shorehill Cottages that were designed by the owner John Roberts. The location on the water is amazing and all of the cottages have outdoor porches and there is a large deck and a dock on the water! The furnishings are very modern with many classic design pieces. The cottages are well equipped including dishes, towels etc. and everything is new. We having been looking for cottages in PEC for a future high school reunion so we are definitely booking this!

We had the pleasure of spending a week with our family at Shorehill. The location was fabulous, the cottages were impeccable and the decor lovely. Thank you John for being a terrific host. The best compliment is that we want to make this an annual family holiday!

I stayed at Shorehill with my extended family a few days ago (mid-June). We rented the Conrad and Melville adjoining cottages, which worked out great for our group of adults and small children. I loved the spacious balcony (accessible from both cottages) and easy access to the dock. The cottages were clean, well appointed and beautifully decorated. John gave us plenty of information prior to our arrival re. wineries and restaurants and things to see, which helped a lot. I definitely recommend this property, and can’t wait to visit again!

Shorehill has a lovely setting on a quiet inlet minutes from Picton. We stayed in the Melville cottage which was beautifully decorated, with many classic pieces and special touches. Cozy and relaxing, it was the ideal restorative holiday. We enjoyed the lazy days on the dock and incredible sunsets. Looking forward to our next stay!

My husband and I had an intimate wedding at Shorehill cottages this past summer and we could not be happier! We used all of the cottages which were clean, and equally beautiful with modern finishes and everything you could possibly need for your stay. The owner was very accomodating and quick to respond to any questions we had. The event would not have been possible without him. Having separate cottages meant our family members could have their own space when needed, but we could come together on the beautiful deck or glassed in porch areas. The new dock was perfect for our ceremony and the evening ended with a stunning sunset over the water. I would definitely recommend Shorehill cottages to others and will be back myself!

Four of us were very comfortable in the Verne cottage. Awesome amenities, scenery and thoughtful details. My friends enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and I couldn't get enough of the cross breeze passing through the veranda. Wicked views of sunsets, sunrises and storms. We will be back. Now I want to try the other three cottages. Thanks for a memorable stay Shorehill Cottages.

We stayed in the Verne cottage for 10 nights. The cottage was clean, tidy, well designed, and stocked with everything we needed. We had our own private outdoor seating area and dock on the water. The location is a quick drive into central Picton, there are great cycling routes nearby, and our hosts had prepared us with great lists of restaurants and shopping. We'll definitely be back.

Our stay at Shorehill was great. The cottage is very clean and well supplied and stocked with almost anything you might need for your stay. John was very helpful with information of the best wineries , restaurants and things to see. thank you John . I would recommend this property .

My family and I stayed at the Shorehill Cottages this past weekend for a peaceful getaway. The cottage is well decorated and stocked with kitchen and bath essentials. John is always available for any questions that you may have and quick to respond for assistance. The dock overlooking the water is amazing, especially during sunset. We spotted a couple of herrings and a family of ducks while on the dock. This is a great place to stay at as it's a few minutes away from downtown Picton. We definitely will be coming back again.
